Register for Classes

How to register

In order to register, you must have first met with your academic advisor and decided on which classes you would like to take. When deciding on a class, you should take note of a couple of things

  • The Course Registration Number (CRN). The CRN is a unique five digit number for each course. When you find a class you want to take, write down the CRN so you can use it to register.
  • Days and times the classes are offered. Make sure your classes do not overlap or conflict. The abbreviations for each of the class days that appear in the Class Schedule are as follows:
    • M = Monday
    • T = Tuesday
    • W = Wednesday
    • R = Thursday
    • F = Friday

Where to register

To register for classes you can simply go to VandalWeb. You must log into VandalWeb with your student ID and PIN. If you have not set up your vandal accounts or contacted your academic advisor, you need to do so before you can register. Once you have logged in, select the Student Information/Registration Menu --> Registration Menu --> Add/Drop Classes. From here you can enter the CRNs for the classes you wish to take. If you need further help see the Web Registration guide.

Waitlists

Waitlists are available when classes reach their maximum capacity. Information about how the wait list system works is available on the Registrar's Office website. Keep in mind that waitlists are only available through the sixth day of the semester.

Registration Conflicts

VandalWeb does not check class time conflicts; it is your responsibility to verify that your class meeting dates and times do not overlap.

Find your classroom

To find the classrooms listed in your schedule, use the classroom abbreviation table and the campus map.
