Sign up for recruitment

Fraternity and Sorority recruitment is a mutual selection process. This means students are choosing the chapters they are interested in joining and chapters are choosing those they are interested in asking to join.

Sorority Recruitment runs from August 15-20. Students attend chapter events each day and narrow down chapters each day.

Fraternity recruitment runs August 20-23. Students have the opportunity to tour every chapter house but then choose which chapter to stay at in the evenings. Fraternities also recruit during the summer months by meeting with students at local chapter sponsored events.

When to sign up

You can begin signing up on Vandal Friday (the last Friday in March). It is never too late to sign up. Even if it's the middle of the semester, there is always housing available.

How to sign up for housing

You can sign up on-line, in person, or by sending in a room reservation card.

Choosing a community

You can choose which building you would like to live in and what type of community (traditional, academic, or themed) you would like to live as long as space is still available in that building or community. You and a friend can also request one another as roommates. Researching the different buildings or communities or coming for a campus visit will help you find the community that works best for you!
