Our leadership extends beyond the borders of our campus.
We help address issues that impact the people of Idaho through the following outreach programs:
- Extension: We have 42 extension offices around the state, including on the Fort Hall and Coeur d'Alene Indian reservations. And we have 12 regional Research and Extension Centers.
- Agricultural Outreach: Idaho's families, consumers and agricultural producers benefit from our quality programs in teaching, education and research.
- Education Outreach: The College of Education offers technology outreach courses and general outreach courses.
- Engineering Outreach: This program serves off-campus students, business and industry. You can take the same engineering, business, computer science and other courses we offer on campus, but you'll learn via DVD with Web support.
- Conferences and Community Programs: We are one of the premier summer conference, camp and program venues in the Pacific Northwest. Our team of planning professionals helps arrange and host athletic camps, business programs, leadership workshops and even weddings.
- Independent Study in Idaho: The University of Idaho is part of a cooperative of four accredited Idaho institutions to offer self-paced, distance-learning opportunities.
