Mission:

To provide the University community with a sound, secure, high-quality one-card and electronic identity system that allows convenient and efficient access to related services.

Vision:

Vandal Card will provide the link between real, physical people and virtual accounts by providing secure, reliable identity documents (ID Cards) and through the use of emerging technologies. Vandal Card will enable and facilitate the use of identity based technologies such as biometrics, proximity cards, and intelligent ID cards to transact business including declining balance, meal, and physical access control services to organizational units within the University of Idaho community.

Goals:

• We strive to maintain a program that benefits our community by providing convenience, security, and financial benefits to cardholders and to other organizational units within the University of Idaho community.

• It is a goal of the Vandal Card Office to maximize the use of current technologies while exploring new and expanded uses of individual identification technologies in order to deliver, and to enable other organizational units to deliver, goods and services to the UI campus community.
