** WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE PRICES FOR OUR HOLIDAY BREAK BUS WILL NOT INCREASE THIS YEAR. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE A LOW COST AND SAFE RIDE HOME FOR OUR STUDENTS.**
The UI Dean of Students' Office provides chartered buses to students for low-cost, safe and convenient transportation to southern Idaho for fall, winter and spring breaks. Buses stop first at New Meadows and towns along Highway 95 and the Interstate to Boise. A second bus transports students beyond Boise making stops along the Interstate to Idaho Falls. If your stop is not listed on the Schedule of Stops, contact us to see if special arrangements can be made.
For fall and winter breaks a bus will also be available to transport student to the Portland/Vancouver area by way of the Tri-Cities. All buses depart on Saturday morning. Please see schedule of stops for details.

Cost for Holiday Break Bus

Round-trip fare on the Boise bus is $90 and round-trip fare for the beyond Boise to Idaho Falls bus will be $120. These prices include 6% state sales tax. Preference will be given to round-trip reservations but one-way fares will be accepted if space is available. The charge for one-way fares is half price plus $5.00.
Round-Trip fare on the Portland Break Bus will be $90.00 for Oregon stops and $50 for the Tri-Cities. One-way fares are available by contacting the Office of the Dean of Students. The cost for one-way fare is half price plus $5 or $30 for Tri-Cities and $50 for stops beyond the Tri-Cities. The bus will make stops in The Dalles, Hood River and other requested stops where the bus can exit and enter the interstate safely.
All Fall Break Buses will depart from Moscow at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009, and will return to campus on Sunday, November 29, 2009. Check "Schedule of Stops" for times and locations.
All Winter Break Buses will depart from Moscow at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2009, and will return to Moscow on Monday, January 11, 2010. Check "Schedule of Stops" for times and locations.
The Spring Break Buses to Southern and Southeasten Idaho will depart from Moscow at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010, and return on Sunday, March 21, 2009. Check "Schedule of Stops" for times and locations.
No Spring Break Bus will be offered to the Portland area.
To reserve a seat on the Holiday Break Bus to South Idaho and Portland, choose one of the following:
- Register on-line at the UI Marketplace
- Fill out the reservation form and return it to the Office of the Dean of Students (TLC 232)
- Call us at the Office of the Dean of Students at (208)885-6757.
Payment can be made by cash, check, credit card, or the student may charge his/her student account. Reservations will be made based on space available. When paying through UI Market Place, please enter your student's name and Moscow address as the shipping address.
